Where do I paste the Velo snippet?
Place Velo’s consent defaults before tags that depend on them, or use Consent Initialization in Google Tag Manager. Configure consent checks for other tags and test accept, reject and preference changes before publishing.
Can Consent Mode help with measurement gaps?
Consent Mode communicates visitor choices to Google tags. Advanced mode can send measurements without cookies when consent is denied; basic mode blocks Google tags until consent. Google’s modelling depends on eligibility and traffic, and cannot guarantee recovered conversions.
Which regions does one banner cover?
One layer reads the visitor's country at the edge and applies the right default on its own: opt in across the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Brazil, opt out everywhere else. There are no separate banners to build or maintain.
Can I move across from another consent tool?
Plan the switch, check your categories and test your tags before removing the previous banner. Existing consent records and returning visitor choices need a separate compatibility check.
How is Velo billed?
Plans are based on monthly sessions and site limits. Free includes one site and 2,500 sessions. Pro starts at €7 per month for 10,000 sessions and supports unlimited sites. Check the pricing page for all tiers.
Can I show a regulator how consent was captured?
Velo keeps timestamped consent records that you can review and export. Records can support an audit, but they do not by themselves prove that every tag behaved correctly. Test your implementation as well.
